RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Town of Trophy Club passed Resolution # B9-
09 on June 6, 1989 in support of upgrading State Highway 114;
WHEREAS, The Town of Trophy Club requested in Section l
- item 6 of Resolution # 89-09 that the westbound State
Highway 114 frontage road be discontinued between Trophy Club
Drive and Trophy Club Drive;
WHEREAS, The Town of Trophy Club has worked with the
State Department of Highways and Public Transportation in the
development of the Phase 1 State Highway 114 improvement
project to address right-of-way issues and control of access,
traffic operations, and sound barrier design and location;
and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation has suggested a revision to the State Highway
114 public hearing schematic to address right-of-way, control
of access, and traffic issues.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Trophy Club
request that the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation take the necessary actions to construct the
westbound frontage road between Trophy Lake Drive and Trophy
Club Drive; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED~ that the Town of Trophy Club supports
the proposed revisions to the public hearing schematic and
encourages the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation to expeditiously process those changes to
insure that the State Highway 114 Phase l project be let for
conStruction in November 1991.
