RESOLUTION NO. 92-05
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS RENEWING A CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE TOWN AND JASPER HAYES COMPANY FOR
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE OF THE PUBLIC AREAS OF
THE TOWN; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town")
heretofore, on October 1, 1991 entered into a contract for
landscape maintenance of the public areas of the Town with the
Jasper Hayes Company, a true and correct copy of the contract being
attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the contract authorize renewal of the
contract, and the Town Council, by the adoption of this Resolution,
desires to renew the said contract and finds that the renewal is in
the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens
of the Town.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the above and foregoing preamble is true and
correct and is made a part of this Resolution as if copied herein
in its entirety.
Section 2. That the Town Council does hereby renew the
contract for landscape maintenance of the public areas of the Town,
a true and correct copy of which contract is attached hereto, with
Jasper Hayes Company. The said renewal shall be for a period of
one year from the date of termination of the original contract
period as set forth in the contract and shall be according the the
same terms, covenants and conditions as are set forth in the
contract. The Mayor is hereby authorized and empowered to execute
any and all documents necessary to effect the renewal of the
contract.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect from and
after its date of passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Cou Cil of the Town of Trophy
Club, Texas this the 21st day of July , 1992.
