RESOLUTION NO. 93_19
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS AWARDING A BID FOR
PAVEMENT REPAIRS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN
THE TOWN TO WESTHILL TERRACE, INC.;
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE TOWN TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR THE SAID PAVEMENT REPAIR WORK;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town"), in
accordance with State law, heretofore issued a request for sealed
bids for pavement repair of various locations within the Town as
set forth in the contract documents entitled 1993 Special Contract
Documents for Pavement Repairs, Phase II (Various Locations) (the
"Contract") , a true and correct copy of which is on file in the
office of the Town Secretary; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the request for sealed bids, the
Town received five (5) bids at or before 10:00 a.m., September 23,
1993; and
WHEREAS, the request for bids required each bidder to submit
a base contract bid (the "base bid") and an additive alternate item
bid (the "additive alternate bid"), with the base bid and the
additive alternate item bid together constituting the total bid for
the Contract (the base bid and the additive alternate item bid
being hereinafter referred to together as the "Bid"); and
WHEREAS, the lowest Bid received by the Town was that Bid
submitted by Westhill Terrace, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council, having reviewed the bids submitted,
and having received the recommendation from the Town Staff, in
accordance with State law now desires to award the Bid to Westhill
Terrace, Inc..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the above and foregoing preamble is true and
correct and is incorporated into the body of this Resolution as if
copied herein in its entirety.
Section 2. The Town Council does hereby award the Bid for
pavement repairs of various locations within the Town as set forth
in the contract documents entitled 1993 Special Contract Documents
for Pavement Repairs, Phase II (Various Locations) (the "Contract")
to Westhill Terrace, Inc. A true and correct copy of the Contract
is on file in the office of the Town Secretary.

Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized and empowered to
execute the Contract with Westhill Terrace, Inc. as set forth
herein.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect from and
after its date of passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy
Club, Texas this the 27t -,h day of Septembar 1993.
