A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS AMENDING RESOLUTION 93-15
RELATING TO A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE TOWN AND THE
CITY OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS FOR THE PROVISION OF
EMERGENCY LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES BY THE TOWN
TO THE CITY OF WESTL/\KE`, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town Council of the Town of Trophy
Club, Texas does hereby amend and agree to enter into the
Emergency Law Enforcement Services Agreement, a true and
correct copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein, by and between the Town and City of Westlake, Texas.
Section 2. The Mayor of the Town is hereby ;authorized,
empowered and directed to execute the said Agreement on
behalf of the Town of Trophy Club.
Section 3' That this Resolution shall take effect from
and after its date of passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Trophy Club, Texas this the 21st day of February, 1995.

FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMERGENCY
LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT
This First Amendment to the Emergency Law Enforcement Services Agreement between
the Town of Trophy Club, Texas and the City of Westlake, Texas is entered into as of the _
21 s t day of o=oh"ACk 1995.
WHEREAS, on September 1, 1993 the Town of Trophy Club, Texas ("Trophy Club")
and the City of Westlake, Texas ("Westlake") entered into that agreement entitled "Emergency
Law Enforcement Services Agreement" setting forth the terms and conditions under which
Trophy Club would provide emergency law enforcement service to Westlake; and
WHEREAS, Trophy Club and Westlake now desire to amend the Agreement to provide
for investigative services and the payment of expenses incurred by Trophy Club in connection
therewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants
herein made, the benefits flowing to each of the parties hereto, and other good and valuable
consideration, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas and the City of Westlake, Texas do hereby
agree as follows:
1. Paragraph IX. of the Emergency Law Enforcement Services Agreement relating
to the investigation of criminal activity shall be amended by adding a new subparagraph E. to
read as follows:
"E. For the investigation of any criminal activity provided by Trophy Club to
Westlake, Westlake shall pay to Trophy Club:
1. A fee of $25.00 for each hour, or any part thereof, of criminal
investigation; and
2. The actual cost or expense incurred by Trophy Club in conducting the
criminal investigation, including, but not limited to (a) crime scene
equipment acquired by Trophy Club and deemed necessary, in Trophy
Club's sole opinion, to conduct the criminal investigation, (b) laboratory
tests, and (c) polygraph examinations.
The said fee, costs or expenses shall be set forth in a monthly invoice submitted
by Trophy Club, and shall be paid by Westlake within ten (10) days of the date
of the invoice."

2. Except as otherwise expressly set forth herein, the Emergency Law Enforcement
Services Agreement is ratified and affirmed. In the event of a conflict between the terms of the
said Agreement and this First Amendment, the terms of this First Amendment shall control.
