RESOLUTION NO. 95-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, APPROVING THE
GREATER DALLAS -FORT WORTH REGIONAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT INTERLOCAL ASSISTANCE
AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE SAID AGREEMENT;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act (Chapter 791, Tex. Gov.
Code) and Chapter 362, Tex. Loc. Gov. Code (relating to the provision of law enforcement
services entitled "Greater Dallas -Fort Worth Regional Law Enforcement Interlocal Assistance
Agreement"; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas has determined that
it is in the Town's best interest and in support of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens
of the Town to enter into the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council does hereby approve the Greater Dallas -Fort Worth
Regional Law Enforcement Interlocal Assistance Agreement, a true and correct copy of which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Mayor of the Town is hereby authorized and directed to execute the said
Agreement on behalf of the Town of Trophy Club.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage.
