TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS APPROVING AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR A TEEN COURT
PROGRAM BETWEEN THE TOWN AND THE CITIES OF
KELLER AND WATAUGA AND THE INDEPENDENT
SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF KELLER, BIRDVILLE, AND
NORTHWEST; AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF $2,000
FOR THE TEEN COURT PROGRAM FOR THE TOWN'S
MUNICIPAL COURT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas heretofore adopted
Resolution No. 2 supporting the establishment of a Teen Court program, on a one (1) year
trial basis, to work in conjunction with the Town's Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Teen Court program is to be conducted jointly by the Town
and the Cities of Keller and Watauga, and the Independent School Districts of Keller, Birdville,
and Northwest; and
WHEREAS, the governmental units participating in the Teen Court program will share
the costs of the program, with Trophy Club's share for the first year amounting to $2,000; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to fund the $2,000 for the Teen Court program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town") does
hereby approve, adopt and agree to enter into an Interlocal Agreement for a Teen Court program
to be used in connection with the Trophy Club Municipal Court by and between the Town and
the Cities of Keller and Watauga, and the Independent School Districts of Keller, Birdville, and
Northwest. A true and correct copy of the said Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated
herein.
Section 2. The Mayor of the Town is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
execute the said Agreement on behalf of the Town of Trophy Club.
Section 3. The Town Council does hereby authorize the allocation and expenditure of
$2,000 for the Teen Court program to work in conjunction with the Town's Municipal Court.
The said expenditure represents the Town's share of the costs of conducting the Teen Court for
a one (1) year period from October , 1995.

Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of adoption.
