A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS APPROVING THE
PARTICIPATION BY THE TOWN IN A TEEN COURT
PROGRAM BETWEEN THE TOWN AND THE CITIES OF
GRAPEVINE, COLLEYVILLE AND SOUTHLAKE;
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 95-28 RELATING TO A
TEEN COURT PROGRAM WITH THE CITIES OF
KELLER, WATAUGA, AND OTHERS; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas heretofore adopted
Resolution No. g4--&3supporting the establishment of a Teen Court program, on a one (1) year
trial basis, to work in conjunction with the Town's Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Teen Court program is to be conducted jointly by the Town
and the Cities of Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake; and
WHEREAS, the governmental units participating in the Teen Court program will share
equally the costs of the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town") does
hereby approve and agree to enter into and participate, on a one (1) year trial basis, in a teen
court program with the Cities of Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake; provided, however, that
the Town may withdraw from the teen court program at any time in the discretion of the Town
Council.
Section 2. The Town shall share equally with the Cities of Grapevine, Colleyville and
Southlake the annual costs of the teen court program.
Section 3. Resolution No. 95-29 relating to a teen court program with the Cities of
Keller and Watauga and others is hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of adoption.
