RESOLUTION NO. 9 6 - 2 0
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS SUPPORTING THE
EFFORT OF THE NORTHWEST INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT TO PASS A BOND ISSUE ON OCTOBER 12, 1996
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SCHOOL
FACILITIES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club agrees with the Northwest
Independent School District that every student has a right to:
1. An academically challenging education;
2. Facilities adequate to support the curriculum and the school population;
3. Technology options that prepare each of them for the world beyond the
classroom; and
4. Safety on the way to school, during school and on the way home;
and
WHEREAS, the Town recognizes the need for new facilities in order to offer excellence
in education to the children of Northwest Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club desires to support the effort
of the Northwest Independent School District to pass a bond issue on October 12, 1996 for the
construction of new school facilities.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council supports the effort of the Northwest Independent School
District to pass a bond issue on October 12, 1996 for the construction of new school facilities.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas
