RESOLUTION NO. 9 6 - 2 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB,
TEXAS SUPPORTING THE USE OF THE MEDIAN ALONG
TROPHY CLUB DRIVE IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF
STATE HIGHWAY 114 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND
PLACEMENT OF A CLOCK TOWER, WITHOUT THE
EXPENDITURE OF TOWN FUNDS; PROVIDING AND
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there is a community -wide effort, involving business and individual citizens
of the Town, to replace the gazebo, located within the median of Trophy Club Drive north of
State Highway 114, with a clock tower (a proposed rendering of which is attached hereto), the
cost of which is to be paid for without the expenditure of Town funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas supports the
community -wide efforts of business and individual citizens of the Town regarding the
construction and placement of a clock tower within the median of Trophy Club Drive north of
State Highway 114; provided, however, that no Town funds are expended for such removal and
relocation.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of adoption.
