A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS CONFIRMING THE
APPOINTMENT OF MARK CHAMBERS AS THE
REGULAR MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE OF THE TOWN;
APPROVING A COMPENSATION AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE TOWN AND MARK CHAMBERS;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there existed a vacancy in the office of Municipal Court Judge of the Town
of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town"), and the Town Council by motion heretofore appointed
Mark Chambers as the regular Municipal Court Judge; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to adopt this Resolution in order to formalize the
appointment of Mark Chambers as the Town's regular Municipal Court Judge and to approve
a compensation agreement between the Town and Mark Chambers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas does hereby confirm
the appointment of Mark Chambers as the regular Judge of the Trophy Club Municipal Court
to fill the vacancy in the office of the regular Municipal Court Judge for the current unexpired
term, which term shall end upon the expiration of the Mayor's term of office.
Section 2. The Compensation Agreement by and between the Town and Mark
Chambers, a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby
approved. The Mayor is authorized to execute the said Agreement on behalf of the Town.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage in
accordance with law.
