RES 1998-02A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS APPOINTING WALTER FITZPATRICK AS AN
ALTERNATE MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE OF THE TOWN;
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 97-33 AS PROVIDED FOR HEREIN;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town") has
determined that an Alternate Judge of the Trophy Club Municipal Court is necessary to perform
certain judicial functions in the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council heretofore determined that Walter Fitzpatrick should be
appointed as an alternate Municipal Judge of the Trophy Club Municipal Court and, by motion,
so appointed Walter Fitzpatrick as an altenate Municipal Judge; and Zn
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to adopt this Resolution in order to formalize the
appointment of Walter Fitzpatrick as an alternate Municipal Court Judge.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas does hereby
confirm the appointment of and appoint Walter Fitzpatrick as an alternate Municipal Judge of
the Trophy Club Municipal Court to serve for a two-year term, which term (as described in
Resolution No. 97-33) began on May 1 1997 and such term shall
end on 4 } 1 3 , 1999.
Section 2. In his service as an alternate Municipal Judge for the Town and in
accordance with Town ordinance, Walter Fitzpatrick shall not be entitled to compensation. The
compensation agreement heretofore approved by the Town Council by and between the Town
and Walter Fitzpatrick is revoked immediately.
Section 3. Resolution No. 97-33 is hereby repealed; provided, however, that the said
Resolution is not repealed to the extent of the appointment of Walter Fitzpatrick as alternate
Municipal Judge.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage in
accordance with law.
