RESOLUTION NO. 1999-10
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, APPOINTING ERIC RANSLEBEN AS AN
ALTERNATE MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE OF THE TOWN;
APPROVING A COMPENSATION AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE TOWN AND ERIC RANSLEBEN; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Texas Government Code provides that a General Law City may provide
for the appointment of one of more persons meeting the qualifications to sit for the regular
Municipal Court Judge if the regular Municipal Court Judge is temporarily unable to act; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town") enacted Ordinance 1999-06
which provides for the appointment of alternate Municipal Court Judges and establishes the
required qualifications for said appointments; and
WHEREAS, Eric Ransleben meets the requirements for alternate Municipal Court
Judges; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council hereby appoints Eric Ransleben as an alternate Municipal
Court Judge; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to approve a compensation agreement between
the Town and Eric Ransleben.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas does hereby appoint
Eric Ransleben as an alternate Judge of the Trophy Club Municipal Court for a two-year term,
said term corresponding with the elected term of the Mayor of Trophy Club, beginning in May,
1999 and concluding in May, 2001; and
Section 2. The Compensation Agreement by and between the Town and Eric Ransleben,
a true and correct copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
The Mayor is authorized to execute the said Agreement on behalf of the Town; and
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage in
accordance with law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas
this 4th day of May, 1999.
