A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, ORDERING THE TOWN SECRETARY TO
MAIL COPIES OF THE PROPOSED HOME RULE CHARTER TO THE
TOWN'S REGISTERED VOTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Home Rule Charter Commission has presented to the Town Council a final
draft of the proposed home rule charter;
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §9.003(a) provides that the proposed home rule
charter shall be submitted at an election to the qualified voters of the Town;
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §9.003(a) directs the Town Council to provide
for the submission of the charter at the election;
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §9.003(b) directs the Town Council to order
the Town Secretary to mail a copy of the proposed home rule charter to each registered voter of the
Town.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas does hereby order the
Town Secretary to have mailed to each registered voter of the Town a copy of the proposed home
rule charter.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas this
6th day of July, 1999.
