RESOLUTION NO. 1999-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, CALLING FOR TOWN PARTICIPATION ON
A COMMITTEE TO FORMULATE AND RECOMMEND
IMPLEMENTATION OF A MASTER DISTRICT CONCEPT PLAN; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town is empowered under §51.001 of the Texas Local
Government Code to adopt an ordinance or rule that is for the good government of the
Town;
WHEREAS, Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No.I and Trophy Club
Municipal Utility District No. 2 are Municipal entities chartered by the State of Texas
responsible for providing potable water, wastewater collection and treatment, storm sewer
maintenance, and fire protection for the residence and businesses in their respective
districts;
WHEREAS, Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. l and Trophy Club
Municipal Utility District No. 2 currently operate under the CONTRACT FOR THE
PROVISION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER SUPPLY AND
WASTE DISPOSAL FACILITIES (Master District Contract) and both concur that this
contract is outdated;
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas is responsible for the provision of
all other municipal services to the residents of Trophy Club Municipal Utility District
No. I and Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 2;
WHEREAS, Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 and Trophy Club
Municipal Utility District No. 2 and the Town of Trophy Club, Texas have chosen to
consolidate operations, equipment, facility usage, and personnel when possible in order to
achieve greater efficiencies;
WHEREAS, Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 and Trophy Club
Municipal Utility District No. 2 and the Town of Trophy Club, Texas currently share a
common operational structure, chain of command, personnel policies, and organization
chart;
WHEREAS, Trophy Chub Municipal Utility District No. 1 and Trophy Club
Municipal Utility District No. 2 have resolved to form a committee to develop a master
district concept plan, write a new Master District Contract and more formally define the
relationship between Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 and Trophy Club
Municipal Utility District No. 2; and

WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club finds that it is in the
interest of the Town to participate on this committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. The Town Manager of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas is hereby
directed to participate as a non-voting member on the Master District Concept Plan
committee.
Section 2. Bill Matthai and Scott Smith are designated as members of the
Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas are encouraged to participate as non-
voting members on the Master District Concept Plan committee.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage
in accordance with law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club,
