RESOLUTION NO. 2000-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWN
OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, AND CONSOLIDATED TRAFFIC
CONTROLS, INC., FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SOLAR POWERED
FLASHING SCHOOL ZONE LIGHTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town"), is a Type A General Law
Municipality located in Denton County, Texas, created in accordance with the provisions of the
Texas Local Government Code and operating pursuant to the enabling legislation of the State of
Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Town issued a request for proposals and accepted bids for the
installation of solar powered flashing school zone lights in accordance with Texas Local
Government Code Chapter 252.
WHEREAS, the Town Council hereby authorizes the execution of an agreement between
the Town and Consolidated Traffic Controls, Inc., for the installation of solar powered flashing
school zone lights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council hereby authorizes the execution of an agreement between
the Town of Trophy Club, Texas and Consolidated Traffic Controls, Inc., for the installation of solar
powered flashing school zone lights.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage in
accordance with law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas this
