RES 2000-15TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS RESOLUTION 2000-15 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME OF THE LOOP ROAD TO MARSHALL CREEK BOULEVARD; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, is empowered under §51.001 of the Texas Local Government Code to adopt an ordinance or rule that is for the good government of the Town; and WHEREAS, the Town has jurisdiction over streets within its corporate limits; and WHEREAS, it is in the Town's best interest to designate the road connecting Trophy Club Drive and Indian Creek Drive as Marshall Creek Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the Commissioner's Court of Denton County, Texas, has requested that said designation be made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS: Section 1. That the road connecting Trophy Club Drive and Indian Creek Drive, which is currently referred to as The Loop Road, is hereby designated and named Marshall Creek Boulevard. Section 2. That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of passage in accordance with law.
