RESOLUTION NO. 2000-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF THE
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas to maximize
its visibility via the Internet; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Town to receive input and
recommendations from qualified citizens as to how the Town may use electronic media.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town Council hereby creates the Information Technology
Committee.
Section 2. That the Information Technology Committee shall be responsible for
coordinating the gathering and publishing of Town information via the Internet and advising
the Town Council and Town Staff in matters related to information technology.
Section 3. That the Information Technology Committee shall consists of 7
members, to be appointed by the Town Council.
Section 4. That said members shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Council.
Section S. That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of
passage in accordance with law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club,
Texas, this 5th day of September, 2000.
