RESOLUTION NO. 2000-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS AND AUGUSTA CONSTRUCTION INC., FOR
CERTAIN RENOVATION OF THE HARMONY PARK CONCESSION/
RESTROOM BUILDING IN THE AMOUNT OF THIRTY TWO
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($32,900); AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town"), is a Type A General Law
Municipality located in Denton County, Texas, created in accordance with the provisions of the
Texas Local Government Code and operating pursuant to the enabling legislation of the State of
Texas; and
WHEREAS, the Town issued a request for proposals and accepted bids for certain
renovation of the Harmony Park concession/restroom building in accordance with Texas Local
Government Code Chapter 252; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council hereby authorizes the execution of a contract between
the Town and Augusta Construction, Inc., for certain renovation of the Harmony Park
concession/restroom building.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town Council hereby authorizes the execution of a contract
between the Town of Trophy Club, Texas and Augusta Construction, Inc., for certain renovation
of the Harmony Park concession/restroom building for the bid award amount of thirty-two
thousand and nine hundred dollars ($32,900).
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its date of passage in
accordance with law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas
