RESOLUTION NO. 2001-27
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 2001-26
APPROVING THE TAX ROLL OF THE DENTON CENTRAL
APPRAISAL DISTRICT; AND ADOPTING NEW PROVISIONS
APPROVING THE CERTIFIED TAX ROLL OF THE DENTON
CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Denton Central Appraisal District has presented a certified tax roll of the
Denton Central Appraisal District to the Town of Trophy Club, Texas,
WHEREAS, on October 1, 2001, the Town Council approved Resolution No. 2001-26
approving the certified tax roll of the Denton Central Appraisal District for the year 2001, as set
forth in Exhibit A to such resolution and incorporated therein by reference,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2001-26 also specified the net taxable appraised value, the
current 2001 tax rate approved by the Town Council, and the total tax actually levied for both
real and personal property, as set forth in Exhibit B to such resolution and attached and
incorporated therein,
WHEREAS, following the approval of Resolution No. 2001-26, a clerical error was
discovered in Exhibit B requiring a revision to the amount of the actual levy total.
WHEREAS, Exhibit `B" has been revised to correct that clerical error by changing the
amount of the actual levy from $2,160,822 to the correct amount of $2,192,339 and did not effect
any change in net taxable appraised value, as approved by the ARB, or the current tax rate as
approved by Town Council.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club desires to repeal Resolution
No. 2001-26 and adopt new provisions accepting the certified tax roll presented by the Denton
Central Appraisal District and set forth in Exhibit "A", incorporated herein by reference, and
Exhibit B, attached to and incorporated herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 2001-26 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section 2. That the tax roll of the Denton Central Appraisal District for the Town of
Trophy Club, Texas for the year 2001, a true and correct copy of which is attached as Exhibit A

and incorporated herein by reference, is approved and accepted. Such tax roll shall constitute the
Town's tax roll for the 2001 tax year.
Section 3. That Exhibit B specifying the net taxable appraised value, the current 2001
tax rate approved by the Town Council, and the total tax actually levied for both real and personal
property, is hereby approved and accepted. A copy of Exhibit B is attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall become effective from and after its date of
passage in accordance with law.

2001 TAX ROLL FOR THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
Based on the 2001 certified roll dated 7/25/01 from the Denton Central Appraisal District, the net
taxable appraised value, which was ARB approved, was listed as $497,682,065. The current
2001 tax rate ($.44051/$100 assessed value) approved by the Town Council, which has been
imposed on each property included on the certified appraisal roll for the Town for 2001, totals
$2,192,339 actual levy. The actual levy includes $2,122,465 for real property and $69,874 for
personal property.
The appraisal roll of $2,192,339, upon approval by the Town Council, shall constitute the 2001
tax roll for the Town of Trophy Club.
