RESOLUTION NO. 2002 - 32
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1999-41 CREATING AN EDITORIAL REVIEW BOARD AND
ESTABLISHING DUTIES AND PROCEDURES FOR SAME; ADOPTING THIS RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE ABOLITION OF THE EDITORIAL REVIEW BOARD; COMMENDING
THE BOARD FOR ITS SERVICE TO THE TOWN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1999, the Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas (the "Town"),
ipproved Resolution No. 1999-41 creating an Editorial Review Board for the purpose of editing the Around the
"own newspaper;
WHEREAS, during its three years of service, the Editorial Review Board has served the Town well by
,roviding a quality newspaper;
WHEREAS, the Town Council has determined that it is now appropriate to change the format of the Around
ie Town newspaper to utilize a condensed format for the publication;
WHEREAS, the new format will be an informative newsletter that will be included in the monthly water bill
:atement;
WHEREAS, due to the change in the format, the services of the Editorial Review Board will no longer be
�cessary and will therefore be abolished; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1999-41 is hereby repealed in its entirety by the provisions of this Resolution.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
ROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Town Council of the Town of Trophy Club, Texas does hereby repeal Resolution No.
>99-41 in its entirety.
Section 2. The Town Council commends the members of the Editorial Review Board for their efforts
A services provided over the past three years.
Section 3. The Editorial Review Board is hereby abolished.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect from anter its date of passage in accordance with law.
