RESOLUTION NO. 2004 - 08
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS COMMENDING STATE REPRESENTATIVE MARY
DENNY ALONG WITH HER STAFF FOR THEIR TIRELESS EFFORTS OF
SERVICE TO THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB AND ITS RESIDENTS; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Representative Mary Denny supported the Town of Trophy Club residents regarding
their right to vote in a proposed local option election; and
WHEREAS, Representative Mary Denny influenced the Texas Legislature in extending the right to
vote in local option elections to a municipality located in two counties; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to recognize Representative Mary Denny for her outstanding
dedication to the community and to express the Council's appreciation for her efforts.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, wishes to express its appreciation with
special recognition to State Representative Mary Denny and her staff.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from an ex its date of passage in accordance with
law. `
