RESOLUTION NO. 2004 - 09
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TROPHY
CLUB, TEXAS COMMENDING SENATOR JANE NELSON ALONG WITH
HER STAFF FOR THEIR TIRELESS EFFORTS OF SERVICE TO THE
TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB AND ITS RESIDENTS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Senator Jane Nelson supported the Town of Trophy Club residents regarding their right
to vote in a proposed local option election; and
WHEREAS, Senator Jane Nelson influenced the Texas Legislature in extending the right to vote in
local option elections to a municipality located in two counties; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to recognize Senator Jane Nelson for her outstanding
dedication to the community and to express the Council's appreciation for her efforts.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Town of Trophy Club, Texas, wishes to express its appreciation with
special recognition of Senator Jane Nelson and her staff.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and'
law.
