RESOLUTION NO. 2009-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2008-
23, BY APPOINTING TWO (2) PERSONS TO FILL TWO
VACANCIES ON THE TREE BOARD, CREATED BY THE
PASSING OF ORDINANCE 2009-04 REPEALING AND
ADOPTING NEW PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE VIII ENTITLED
"TREE PRESERVATION AND REMOVAL"; PROVIDING THAT
THE REMAINDER OF RESOLUTION NO. 2008-23 SHALL
CONTINUE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT; AND ADOPTING A
NEW RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO (2) CITIZENS TO TREE
BOARD FOR THE REMAINDER OF AN UNEXPIRED TERM
EXPIRING IN 2009; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town benefits by having its citizens involved In local
government through service on Town Committees and Boards; and
WHEREAS, since the adoption of Resolution No. 2008-23, Ordinance
2009-04 was approved creating two additional seats on the Tree Board; and
WHEREAS, applicants who were not appointed during the annual
appointment process were considered first and have expressed a continued
interest; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has reviewed the qualifications of
applicants for service on Tree Board and has determined that the appointment of
two of those applicants identified herein below is appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TROPHY CLUB, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Resolution No. 2008-23 is hereby
amended to reflect the appointment of the following individuals to serve on Tree
Board with such term of service ending on October 1 of the year specified below:

7. Sheila Lacher (2010)
1. Bob Downey (2010)
2. Steven Kohs (2010)
5. Rick Merrill (2009)

3. Deandra Pugh (2010) 7.
4. John Klauss (2009)
Section 2. That all of the other terms an provisions of Resolution No.
2008-23 not in conflict with the terms of this Resolution shall continue in full force
and effect.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective from and after its
date of passage in accordance with law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Town Council of the Town of Trophy
Club, Texas, this 20 th day of April, 2009.
